If you're trying to decorate a boy's room without using Buzz Lightyear, Speed Racer, or other cartoon characters, this may be the comforter for you. We bought it for our 6-year-old. His room is light blue like the room in the picture. My husband wanted to paint the walls to something brighter and less feminine, but I think it looks great as is. I did have to cut slits in the bedskirt but did not hem them - its not too noticeable (imho). I probably should have hemmed the bedskirt and pillow covers as well... We have not washed it yet and, after reading the reviews, I will probably just spot clean it unless we have a throw-up situation! The navy does show stuff (I'm thinking of snot here...) All in all, I think its pretty cute and a lot cheaper than Pottery Barn! We also have the matching sheets and I like them, too.
